  • problem with jpeg sequence and cuda

Thanks for the amazing gpu features of 3.1 and 3.2. It really makes a difference!

It seems as if there's a problem when using jpg-sequence in materials. The problem occurs when using multiple jpg-sequences.
I have 16 sequences in this particular scene and after 100-150 frames rendertime gets 10x slower.

If i stop the render and resume, speed gets back to normal until it slows down again after approx 100-150.
maybe this is a memory issue?

It will be best if you could send us (support@chaosgroup.com) an example or stripped version of the scene so we could test it and investigate further.
Also how much memory does your GPU have and how big is the resolution of the jpg images?
