  • Anisotropy not working on GPU

    Hi
    Anisotropy on GPU is a new feature of Vray 3.2. Somehow this doesn't work for me. I have duplicated your material settings from the official 3.2 video

    Works fine on cpu though. Is it a known bug or am I missing something?

    It works fine over here. If you have a scene where it doesn't, can you send to support@chaosgroup.com so that the support guys can look into it?

      hmm tried it on different scenes with no luck with Blinn material. I will send a simpified scene to you.

            Just to add up - it's not working only if using "Map Channel" mode for the anisotropy, local axis mode is fine.
            If it was that easy, it would have already been done

              Nice..that worked Peter.

              Vlado there is also a strange line from the Gradient Ramp with GPU. Compare cpu and gpu versions from this thread.
