  • Different scale with production render using procedural maps

    Hi all,
    it's kind of strange that i noticed this just now, or maybe i wasn't aware of it but i've searched the forum and find no mention: as the title suggests there is an evident difference in scale using procedurals like noise, cellular, etc between vray production render and RT.
    Using 3dsmax2016 and Vray3.20.03.

      Sure.
      I found this problem while working on a specific project i can't send, but in a standard scene while the scale itself doesn't seem to change much, there's still a big difference at least in the placement of the procedural.

        We can't really fix that, at least for the time being. The procedurals will not be *exactly* the same, but they will look similar. That's why it would be useful to have your original scene where the scale was different.

          I understand.
          As i said it is more than possible that it wasn't a scale related issues, it's just that in that production scene the difference was huge, but it's something we're still working on at the moment, maybe in a couple of months.
