  • Update is extremely slow in scenes with more than 20mil polies

    Hey,
there is a delay of around 10 seconds after every action I do in these scenes. Light setting, moving parts, material changes etc. That is too long. Are you aware of this?

It doesn't seem normal. Is there any way that you can provide the scene for us?

    Best regards,

The scene is similar to the ones I sent some months ago. Automotive interiors. Will try to get you a scene none the less.

Yes, please - the ones that you sent were definitely helpful; we just want to make sure we can capture as many cases as possible.

          Scene was sent to you.
By the way, it doesn't matter if the car is proxy. It doesn't speed things up.

Another short observation: After every change in the scene the dialog starts all the way up from "using embree ray tracing". As if RT goes through the whole routine again? But why, all the geometry is there?

              We'll figure it out.
