  • Exposure issues with 3.40.04

    Hi,

    I noticed that my IPR renders in VRayRT for maya are darker than the cpu renders. The geo has a default vraymtl assigned, and a skydome light with default settings, no hdr texture. The issue is on cameras with physical camera attribute as well as the default perspective camera.

    I was wondering if there was a bug or its just me doing something wrong. I've attached the renders for reference.

    Using v3.40.04 on maya 2016

      When you use IPR render it doesn't take into account the Light Cache, where the CPU render use it and its output gets brighter. In another hand if you set the GPU as a production engine it will use the LC in its calculation and the result will be identical.
