  • (possibly optional) - lights invisible by default

I am not sure if I'm overlooking a group of users for whom this would be a negative change, so I would prospectively suggest that it be optional. In either case, it is my view in my own personal workflow that I have never wanted a light to be visible (mesh lights excluded) in the scene and more often than not having to check the 'invisible' box every time I place a Vray light rectangle is just an unnecessary extra step. I see that this might conflict with Vray's light paradigm seeing as currently all forms of lights (Mesh, hdri/dome, rectangle, sphere, ies) are not invisible by default, so I understand if the developers may not want to upend that paradigm, but nonetheless I think it would be a good time-saving option to have.

Would love to hear thoughts from the rest of the community about this.

Good point, I need visible lights very seldom here too. The shape isn't so realistic looking that they are needed visible.
