  • Vray Selfillumination Pass Flexibility

    It would be great if we would could have more control of the objects that we assign to the Vray Selfillumination Pass. Right now all of the objects with Self Illumination are combined into one pass with no way to control individual objects illumination.So if I want to make a certain object illuminate more, I would either have to adjust the settings in max and re-render the object, or I would have to create a separate mask with maybe a Material ID that I could use to mask out all of the other objects in the Self Illumination pass.

    one thing that might help you, you can use the "material select" render element. And put the light materials into multiple material selects. That's assuming that they all have different shaders.
