So there's this new plugin called Dendro and its a volumetric modeling plug-in for Grasshopper built on top of the OpenVDB library. It provides multiple ways to wrap points, curves, and meshes as a volumetric data type, allowing you to then perform various operations on those volumes.
Vray NEXT for Rhino already has a volumetric environment so I was wondering if its possible to include volumetric materials to the material library? This would allow me to (potentially) animate beautifull 3d clouds with skyscrapers sticking out or 3d Seafoam on a breaking wave script in Kangaroo i've been developing.
Vray for Modo already has something like it as far as i'm aware. Would be great to have this material option in Rhino
Thanks in advance!
