I am building a new pc with Asus ProArt X570-CREATOR WIFI motherboard, AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and Asus Radeon RX 6800 XT. Up to now I rendered only on CPU. When only rendering on the CPU the mentioned GPU would be an overkill. I hope that Chaos makes it possible to render on AMD GPU's possible in conjunction with CPU's so I can use the full force of this machine.

We don't have plans for supporting AMD GPUs at the moment, we dropped OpenCL support during V-Ray Next cycle. AMD stopped investing in OpenCL and many software/hardware vendors deprecated their support
V-Ray GPU makes use of dedicated ray-tracing hardware in the latest Turing and Ampere GPUs, you can find system requirements here

Thanks Muhammed for your quick responce. Yesterday I quickly went to the system builder and exchanged the planned AMD GPU for a RTX 3070Ti. Surely it will be of good use in my new build.Comment
