  • render region

ok so ill be the first one here
s far as i could test it out in the demo there no way in RT to use render region feature from max active shade. i think it would be extremely useful in complex interior scenes to be able to actually have live preview of just small part of the view to tweak some material and get very fast update when the scene will grow somewhat slow to render i hope im making sense

Perhaps in a similar way F-Prime does it? Where you can just "scroll" zoom into a part of the image and it will recalculate the image in more detail on the fly.

Probably not going to be in the same way; F-Prime keeps the entire image sampling grid in RAM; V-Ray RT does not utilize any such structure - the pixels are directly supersampled.
