more Speed + using Vray-RT for the final rendering

i have recently purchased vray rt and i find it quite slow, compared to bunkspeed hypershot.
what i would really like to do, is to use for final renderings. just specify a amount of time for the rendering (like maxwell) and not having to set up vray production renderer as well.

There is certainly some more place for speed optimizations and we are working on that. However note that V-Ray RT supports more complicated shading and lighting effects than hypershot, and this invariably slows it down somewhat. On the bright side, you can always add more machines for DR.

You will probably still have to have the standard V-Ray renderer in the scene though; we don't want to double all the settings in both places (e.g. color mapping, DOF etc).

The time-limit has already been requested and we will add this as an option.
