  • Wishlist for upcoming V-Ray RT release :)

My personal wishes would be to see the following implemented:

-particle mesh support(even dots and ticks would be cool ) (& including vertex color and gradient uvw-mapping support)

    -ss2 support
    -env fog support
    -dragging quality slider
(allow higher quality when changing camera in viewport, if the computer allows it i think it would be possible, and certainly would add to the "realtime" feeling)

-transfer settings to post production with time-input

I would like the last setting, because rendering production is always a bit different. If we really like the RT result, it would be nice to instantly use those settings to render out production. Often I find myself having an almost noise free totally clean RT image after 15-30seconds, i have to tweak quite a bit to get this speed for production, and it always doesnt look as good as the RT image. Obviously this is due to my lack of knowledge, but it would be nice to have an instant way to just transfer the settings to render with the same look as RT. And even better, if you can just enter the amount of time in seconds, then you could just say, ok i want each image to take 30 seconds, and use by approximation(which it took of last active shade session) the correct settings to get the same look of image in that timeframe.

If we could somehow quickly implement these if not already done for the next release, would be very great! They would certainly help me in my bachelor project ^_^

jea, it would even be nice if RT gives the option of rendering viewport, or render settings, since alot of options are only triggered at rendertime usually,

once we have particle and proxy support, it would be great to have vray berconball support ^_^
