  • Round Corners: Possible to integrate into VRayScannedMtl?

As the title says, is there a way to add a rounded corner feature into these materials? Often you get parts from CAD that have perfect edges. In the standard VrayMtl you can easily fix this with the EdgesTex. Would be nice to have that feature in the scanned materials, too!

    Regards

perhaps it's possible, probably our edge displacement internal mechanism can be used, but can't promise it without experiments

You can always use the VRayBumpMtl material - you plug the VRScans material into it, and the VRayEdgesTex texture as the bump texture.

Ah, totally forgot about that one. Will try it out, thanks for the tip!
Currently testing the materials, so far they turn out great! The carpaints especially are a huge time saver.
