Now that the new version of GroundWiz supports Vray proxies, I did some test renders.
1 Onyx bush = 31,588 polys
57,601 bushes = 1,819,500,388 … a tad shy of 2 billion polys

Or maybe our video cards can’t even load images with that many polys… :shock:

Sweet! I was looking at buying GroundWiz until I realized that in order to use it on our rendering farm, I’d have to pay $185 for the main license and $1000 for the 20 nodes in the office.
They just updated their price schedule (maybe they saw your post)… $495 for a single edit license and unlimited render licenses.
That is amazing.
