3D Connection SpaceMouse Wireless

Hi,

trying to run Sketchup and Enscape simultaneously, I use a “3D Connection SpaceMouse Wireless” which works very well in both applications individually but as soon as the Enscape window is open the spacemouse only works in enscape ???..

anyone else having the same problem or hopefully a solution ???

Yes i have asked about this in the past. Kinda annoying loosing the sketchup control. Only work around i found was sync the cameras and then only navigate in sketchup, but second you click in the enscape window it will become enscape only

Hi @SRJ , I’m sorry to hear about this. I have forwarded your description to the developers to reproduce the behavior. I’m afraid right now there’s no other workaround I could recommend than what @scottofazphx_1 wrote.

3d mouse works on both windows now:thumbsup:

New glitch though, if you exit enscape and carry on with SketchUp the 3d mouse stops working and you have to reload the model. Not a big problem to be honest .

For me is a big problem,

This is problem with my 3d connexion space pilot pro.

When i turn off Enscape in Sketchup 2018 pro my controller 3d lose the connection with sketchup and don’t move anything included the buttons.

I must close the file.

This happens with version 2.1.3.1901, 2.1.3.2052 and 2.2.0.10.

2.1.3.1247 work perfectly.

Now i try the release 2.2.0.93 and nothing done, i’m stopped to 2.1.3.1247.

Please help me thank you

I try to change the file rbz and folder of sketchup/enscape plugin with the 2.1.3.1247 but nothing done !!

I think that something happens with the introduction of camera path !!? Because the problem born with the first introduction of this feature !

I stay tuned !!

@4interiors camera path has nothing to do with 3d mouse. We’ll check what can be done based on what have been done with the 3d mouse after 2.1.3.1247.

The 3d connexion spacemouse issue has been fixed with hotfix v2.2.1! :slight_smile:

Hi,

Seems the problem has returned, when I open Enscape in SketchUp the Spacemouse cannot be used in SketchUp. Do you have a solution? I am using Enscape 2.5.3.0.

I had the same problem with the last 10.6.0 and 10.6.2 drivers.
With 10.5.5 drivers it works perfectly.
