Adjustable asset plant color

Hello, may I ask whether the leaf color of the plants and trees in the asset bank can be adjusted by ourselves? The current leaf color is darker and belongs to a dark green color. If it can be adjusted to a lighter yellow-green color, the effect will be better!

The above two pictures are my examples. The first one is the default effect of asset tree, with dark green color of leaves. The second one is adjusted by later stage, changing the color of leaves to yellowish green to slightly improve the lightness, which will look much better

Hi @tas_1985 , thank you for your feedback! We’ve forwarded it to product management - unfortunately there’s currently no option to change asset colors, except for letting Enscape export a material-id channel, and then tune it in an image editing software.

Big +1 for material overrides on Proxies. We’ve ran into this exact problem with leaves as well, but there are countless other use cases for overrides in assets.

Changing of car colors

Making people fully white or black for conceptual look

Changing materials on furniture to match interior design scheme

Changing colors on accessories to blend into scene or bring more variety

Forwarded your feedback - thanks!

Hello Enscape Team

It would indeed be great to be able to adjust/replace materials for the asset library. A lot of the assets have a great shape but some colored details make them hard to use in most of our visualisation works.

I agree that would be a very useful feature!

+1

Forwarded, thank you.
