Hi everyone 
of course the metal shader bundle was just the beginning (https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/…or-vray5-3drnb), we plan to release all shader categories within 2021 and the next one will be fabrics (it will be available for both Cinema4D and Max).
In 2020 we have released a fabric shader bundle for Corona so all the research/assets are already made, now we just need to rebuild the materials using Vray. This is not a simple conversion from the Corona shaders, in doing this we are taking advantage of new features like the Vray Sheen layer that proved to be amazing for these kind of materials, so our goal is to get even better quality (this is the Corona bundle for reference: https://www.3dtutorialandbeyond.com/…abric-shaders/ ).
We have already made 100 out of 600 shaders so you can expect the bundle to be ready in about a month, in the mean while I’ll post some images of the WIP here on the forum 
Let’s start with a couple of simple fabrics, a cotton and a linen:

I’m not sure if you have it; but corduroy velvet is number 1 on my list.
Followed by the silk.
Silk is done;) I’ll look into the corduroy velvet in the spare time, it was not planned for this bundle but I can add it to the list!

any update regarding the fabric bundle release? looking forward for it! are the shaders going to be available for v-ray 5 and v-ray 3.7 as well? cause the unreliability and lack of some features of v.5 for now, I’m moving back to v.3.7 so I was wondering …
Hi, to complete the fabric shader bundle I was waiting for the 5.1 release since this update introduce a new thin walled SSS mode suitable for some fabrics.
Now that 5.1 have been publicly released I can get back to work and Ill do my best to complete the bundle ASAP
Unfortunately the new bundle will be available only for version 5, for older version we are still offering the old fabric bundle but is a totally different product.

Yes, I’ve many shaders ready, still need to complete the collection though. I hope it will be ready in a couple months, if you need specific fabric urgently let me know.
