After many years of Headaches =)

Hello all, I would like to share with you guys an exp I had tonight, …after many years of headaches in the archviz business I have come to learn that i know nothing of vray. I just bought Francesco’s book and it seems that I thought I knew a lot about vray until I was 200 pages into this book. LOL well I did come from an Arch. Background so I spent a (lot) of time designing so i had very little time to improve my renderings. However with my recent job loss it seems i have a lot more time in my hands which is why i bought this book, It has opened up a new world to me. =)

However now that I see how many retarded questions I asked and I still got a lot of help in some situations I would like to thank the community for answering them, I am currently finishing a project however I am applying everything that Im learning to the image so you guys will be very impressed once I am done.

And on that note: from now on anytime someone asks a dumb question I’m going to tell them :

LOL. Not really but I’m just helping out Francesco: he really did a fabulous job on this book.

Again thanks to Vlado and the vray team and all the helpful people in this comm. i dont think you guys hear it enough.

=)

Cheers Ruben

Is anyone in the States selling this book?

thanks

Hi ntavian,

you can order the book here

Is there a reprint date for the English version?

Hi 100%indifferent
sorry for my late answer,

Right now you can buy a PDF version directly in our site.

Thanks Cecofuli, I just saw that. Does that mean there will be no reprint of the Eng version?

Right now we don’t print any physical book in the future. Only PDF version with low price

it makes me nice warm and fussy inside thinking how much I paid for the physical book and all the talk back then that a pdf version is not an option.
(don’t get me wrong, the content is excellent, just the price difference is huge)

I would gladly pay the old (“high”) price for a printed version - to me “real” books are much easier to use, specially if they are that big as this one. I would even buy a used one for the full price, but here in germany, after asking around on the web, no one will sell it. So i am happy that there is now a *legal* option to get a digital copy of it.

I buyed the book 1year ago. I must say that it’s simply a must have !! Paper book in my hands is cool because i can mark some pages, add annotations, read in bed, in toilets, in bus.. perhaps it’s a bit heavy ?
Enormous congrats to Cecofuli for this huge Vray reference.

You can always just print it out, can’t you?
