You can’t get light wrap in the from bright BGs in the VFB. Just need to be able to move the Lens Glare above Background layers.

You can do this now by moving the background layer below the lens effect. The image with the kids is a loaded exr background.

It looks like that’s only possible if you are in Composite mode. Maybe a checkbox for LightMix/RGB modes?

You can merge light mix into composite.

Hi Let me know if the provided solution works for you. Thanks.

We are planning some changes. We are considering a new layer that could be more universal. This one will be introduced with a new workflow where you will be able to add a layer beneath the Source layer as well in order to use it as background, instead of forcing it “as foreground/as background”. Do you think that such a method would work for you? Do you find it intuitive?

Would “image and Color” be the background node/layer in the current VFB? If so, yes that would work perfectly.

Yes, it could play the role of a Background layer as well. We are still considering the best approach of whether we should improve the current Background layer or create a new one, which could eventually replace the Background layer. If possible, we will try to modify the current Background layer. If not possible due to some fundamental differences, it will be a new layer.
