This has been asked several times and I’m not up to date on where this currently stands.
Are there any news regarding animated objects such as trees, people and other? Are there any possibilites Enscape might at some point work with SU Animate or other Animationplugins?
@MatthiasL , no news regarding this subject lately, I’m sorry. But, we are aware of the demand for this implementation and I’ve happily given the corresponding feature request on our agenda a further upvote through your voice! Thank you for the feedback.
Thanks for your reply, Demian. It wouldn’t even need to be anything fancy like cars and pathing, “only” some trees being bent by the wind would do wonders to animated scenes and the overall look and feel.
On an unrelated note: Is there any news on support for sketchup layers? I’d love to show clients different alternatives on their objects without the need to switch to another standalone. On your development agend you refer to “View Related / Dependent Geometry” - is this something along those lines?
Totally understand and agree with you on that. Thanks for the further feedback.
That is exactly what this is referring to in relation to SketchUp - we can’t make any promises that this will be implemented with 2.6, but it is definitely planned for that version so stay tuned!
While I’m very satisfied with using Enscape for my current design and presentation, I know if they incorporate animated objections, Enscape will be might go to program for anything my clients could request for presentations.
Would like to see the following with movement settings:
Flags with ability to map any image
Following either randomized or added to the keyframe time liner…
Simple Background Bird Overlays
Snow and Rain Overlays
Wet surface Overlays with droplet beading amount setting on horizontal surfaces
Water movement options: breezy action across surface instead of wavy.
Shortcut in the settings for a key-list to get materials to do what is intended: example smooth, rough, shiny, polished, short carpet, long carpet, wet (so paving objects could be made wet while other elements remain drier).
Adjustable trimming of ‘carpet’ at edges to zero (so grass does not bleed through).
+1 animated objects (people, birds, vehicles, light sources like flashing neon, LED lights changing color, search lights, fireworks, etc.), weather or environment changes (rain, snow, timelapse of sunset, sunrise or night sky) animated within video animations.
