you mean the rendering, not the simulation? play with the color and transparency curve.

well, the reason to get different simulation is perhaps the fix in the core that i mentioned in the beta forum. update your build and the simulation will be the same. the reason to have small count of presets is that in the most cases the result depends too strong on the helper objects, the source …

lol…is that a compliment or not :)))) i will have to reserve some time to go deep within the phoenix but its hard among all the jobs to find even a few minutes to take a pi.. :)))

one of our coworkers just introduced an interesting technique to produce fake blurred (glossy<1) reflections of phoenix. the idea is that the big count of the additional lights produces specular highlights that look like blurred reflection of the fire itself [kaminaspecular05.jpg]
