Here is an image I did, last night and this morning, that I would appreciate comments on. The project is a low budget remodel; the architect is trading membership for design services ![]()
I got feedback from the Architect ![]()
WOW! WOW! WOW! I have NEVER seen anything this GREAT! WOW! It turned out MUCH better than I ever imagined (and you can quote me on that!) … the two guys in my office thought it was a photograph. There were two minor changes, but looking at it, its fine the way it is – nobody is going to care about the two minor things! You’ve done it again – EXCELLENT! Can’t think of any other superlatives to use … Thanks so much!!!

I agree it’s very good and photo real, my only comment would be to move the tree to the side as it’s right in the middle of your view and distracts from the building.
It’s always great to receive feedback like that.
HDRi Lighting? What did you use for the grass, Forest?
Thanks. I actually moved it to the right, further than it really is, but I could nudge it more.
I used an HDRI (vray dome light) for lighting and Multiscatter for the grass.
no me, nothing says Yacht Club, but that is probably a design issue. I was thinking about adding some nautical flags on the gate.
I see Bobby, you’re on the roll ! I see tremendous improvement in your works!
this one is actually very good, quite impressive also, considering the short time you had to work on it. it’s probably one of my favourite from you, but well, I guess the client’s feedback sums it up quite exhaustively ![]()
I agree about the quality…very good and realistic!!!
my comment would be finishing the fence, there is a sidewalk there going thru the fence without a gate…maybe and semi open gate would work well there.
If you change the proportion of the rendering like HD proportions would help the composition showing a little more on the right of the building.
Great work Bobby!
Fernando
Nice work - and a nice compliment!
As an aside, why are you using Multiscatter rather than forest Pro?
Thanks Jeff. I am not sure why I bought Multiscatter instead of Forest Pro.
Nice Image & a very encouraging feedback.. Cheers bobby!
Great work!! and it’s lovely to hear you have gotten such a nice response from the client ![]()
excellent work.. for me the tree position is not a problem. but +1 for the sidewalk opening. Damn this is incredibly realistic…
Hi Bobby,
Could you share some tips about the grass? What kind of models did you scatter, and what kind of geometry was it, patches, individual flowers, etc.
thanks! it looks great
Very realistic, I agree. I love it that you chose a backlit scenario. It’s a brave choice compared to the more traditional side-lit scene but it really sells it as a photo, complete with the slight overexposure of the roof and direct-lit area. Like the temperature too. (And the feedback must have made you feel pretty good, right?).
I’ll do something today, maybe a video ![]()
Well done - this is spot on in pretty much all regards.
I think it looks very realistic and calm. Congratualtions.
