A few years back, when a € was almost worth a 1.50$, it was tempting to buy a permanent license outside europe. But AD clearly stated in their conditions that you couldn’t buy the license outise of your country or at least continent. Bah.

Yes, sure… Even if AD is all but not creative… It’s a big big dilemma for me, I guess I 'm not the only one… stay with AD and try to get the best out of 3DSMAX or go away and try Blender or something else…

I will be interesting to see if AD’s stock goes up or tanks. Is software still being cracked and will more people go that route, or will people jump ship? The price of one seat is a small % of my monthly budget, but for a lot of people it’s just too much money. It’ll be interesting to see what happe…

I was told just yesterday by somebody from AD that those licenses won’t work in other regions. Seems my region don’t have any special promotions either.
