Im trying to understand why back to beauty source seems different from rgb..i assumed they should look similar in the VFB.
Its a simple white render scene with just a domelight and 1 white material.

Thank you for posting.
I am not reproducing the issue as you describe it in a new file with a Dome Light - the Back to Beauty composite is the same as RGB.
Can you also try in a new file and share if you are able to reproduce the issue on your side?
If only this particular project exhibits the issue please share an archived file with the Pack Project tool for us to take a look. Also specify which exact V-Ray for Rhino version you are currently using (example).
