I’m getting an error message when loading up 3ds Max 2027 that BerconMaps_2027_64.dlt failed to initialize. Error code 193 - is not a valid Win32 application.
I have it working in 3ds Max 2026 on the same workstation.
Has anybody else had this issue or knows how to get it working? Never had this problem before using it over the years.

I can’t seem to find any similar issues online. It’s a strange one as it’s working on my 2026 Max install.
Try updating your Windows (Start > Check for updates).
Windows is all up to date
ChuckRT is it working for you on Max 2027 service pack 1?
Just wondering if it could be different version updates of Max causing it.
Yep, It worked with Max 27 and 27.1
Dont quite sure if windows is the issue, im using Windows 10 and tested on 11, working ok
Maybe try renaming ENU or uninstall and reinstall Max, dont think that this will do anything but just to check everything

Do you start 3ds Max as admin?
Also, try reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable through the setup file “vc_redist.x64.exe” included in the V-Ray utils folder (C:\Program Files\Chaos\V-Ray\3ds Max 2027\utils), and restart your PC.
By the way, are you sure you’ve downloaded the .dlt correctly? This is the page you need to download it from. Click on the dots on the right and download.
