edges of the multimatte ar very jaggy, but i cou´l blur in post a bit
I am sorry about I am not able to understand what exactly you are looking for.
Would it be possible to give is more detailed information on the issue you are facing and if it is possible to attach a sample scene along with a few screenshots about the issue.
you make object in scene and set it to “object properties” “not-renderable” and this object i want that it is seen in the renderelement “multimatte”.
so in other words, i want a blackwhite/multimatte matte of an object that is not seen in the camera and does not influence the scene at all.
it is for post production purposes
thanks for your interest in my problem Svetlozar
…but i think it works good with this complete transparent object that i described in post #3…it is not seen, all influences are disabled and i get it rendered in “multimatte” renderelement.

Yes, it’s a solution. Objects set to non renderable or invisible to camera are not displayed in the multimatte element.
Is it necessary to get the multimatte element for this object on one render pass?
Set IM preset to High with default values for Subdivs and Interp.Samples and object will disappear in the RGB pass while still visible in the MultiMatte one:
