Which part? The errors in the materials on the first image where you can see thru the pot?
Or the flatness of the second image, no caustics or even shadows.
I think vray can do both, but I’ve used the program for more than 5 minutes so I can’t do this type of render any longer, sorry.
Very impressive work  Are you in CG business?
great pictures!
can i offer you a job at my company as lead artist?
i will pay whatever you want.
plus free car, cocain and whores.
i think he is Dale Williams, am i rite?
to LuKa and tammo:
the purpose of his images was not to show off his skills but to ask about VRay features…
Yes of course vray does this with ease. ![]()
re
Whatever tammo is offering, I’ll double it! Plus 3x the amount of cocaine. (I’m closer to Columbia)

please ignore the flipancy, it’s undeserved.
yes, Vray can produce both Glass and Car paint effects easily, but you will have to set up the material manually as there is no built in shader. Vray should produce the render more quickly though…
if you need help trying to setup the shader
try here on the forum, most user are more helpful…
or try here
really guys, try and be more professional next time, he wasn’t asking for your opion on his modeling skills but if VRAY could render the Car Paint Shader or Glass shader from Brazil…
you guy’s crack me up…Cocain…where
Party? ![]()
A quote from Jeff Mottle/CGarchitect.com,
" I had a few minutes to speak with Peter from Vray who told me that new materials were on their way for the next release"
@Rerender… that was clear !! california = party…tse tse tse
but wait till schwarzeneger is govener  does he still have this strong austrian accent ?
another quote from jeff mottle about fR and cebas:
“I stopped by their booth to see what was new and asked to see a demo and was snubbed and told to visit their website if I wanted to see what was new. I guess in person Cebas carries on their well known reputation.”
it´s so embarrassing that cebas is a german company

3D Studio 4 running in DOS mode has a nice scanline renderer, you should test it…
Guys Guys! I was just asking about the shaders not my skills ![]()
Would have bet it was about modeling the Teapots!
Fermí
20:15 and leaving the office!, this mean “leaving soon” for me ![]()
Re: re
Actually I live in Colombia ao the comment its not so welcome, but I’ll give you a job as well . The teapots are awesome!.
BTW. I think that vray produces grea glass and there are quite a few multi level paint materials around. bybe ask goncalo or jbug..I think they might help you out.
Sorry fblznolimit, I thought you were joking with those image posts. I think everyone else did to. I don’t think they or I, were trying to be hateful, just kidding around.
Vray can produce both types of materials in about 1/3 the time it would take Brazil to render. Brazil is a fine renderer, it’s just very slow compared to vray.
