Caribbean horizon

Its been a while since ive posted on the forum and even longer since I’ve had to do a project with a view of the horizon across the ocean. I’m still on a really old version of vray. Has the sky ever been updated to take that crappy haze off of it? we dont have haze on our horizon normally (see image). no matter how i play with turbity i get a horrible sky. Ive got to go and composite the sky into all of my shots now.

There are 3 sky models to chose from in newer versions of VRay.
You should be able to achieve what you want with one of them

That image is super over saturated. It looks completely artificial. You can check here and you will see the effect of “haze” https://www.walldevil.com/wallpapers/a46/wallpaper-wallpapers-beach-bazzza-pixel-caribbean-screen-large-antigua-beaches.jpg
Though if you want to get rid of that - yeah, use clear sky model.

Show that sky model who’s boss:

You can simply make the “ground albedo” in the VRaySun settings blueish, and/or reduce the “blend angle”. There should be no need to tinker with PhotoShop.
