Caterham Super 7

Hi,

This is a model of a Caterham Super 7 that i have recently finished.

Thanks to Roppin for his paint shaders, they were a great help.

cc welcome

Cheers

That looks incredible !

Any chance of seeing the wireframes ?

n

looks wicked! is there something odd going on with the chrome plate on the front of the left rear wheel arch in the first image?

nice job

Fantastic, no crits.

Are you going to build a real one? 8)

OH Sweeeeeeeet!

(but your avatar *gulp*)

dam thats sweeet!
I think you or Roppin with have to share the car paint shader!

would love to see a wireframe of it

just noticed something…

The front right tyre is round the wrong way, it should be a mirror image of the front left, good old directional tyres

Top class!!

thanks for the comments, im not sure why the kick plate should look funny, i think its a dodgy reflection maybe.

I would love to build one of these for real, but i am not sure my mechanical skills are up to it.

here is the wire, and the paint, which is just a tweak of one of roppins

thanks for sharing!
great wire too

How hard could it be to build one??

ditto, early christmas

That is a greate model. Nice to see that material on to something.

Wooo.. very, very nice! Any chance of seeing your environment setup (maps, lights etc).

Lush

WOW, very cool !!!
Realistic to say the least.
Good work. Those head lights are stunning.

Freakin’ sweet! I never say that, but it just seems appropriate for this little ride. Ditto on the head lights. What was your source material -blueprints, images?

I got the blueprints off the web, and a guy at work has recently built the real thing, which was really helpful for reference. I told him I really needed to drive it to gain a proper understanding of the car, but he wouldn’t have it unfortunatly.

mmmm shiney

Look at my avatar (that hasnt been changed since the first time I have join the Vray forum…) : this is the grandmother of your model 8)
