Chaos Scatter - Maya render setup

Im not seeing any Chaos Scatter showing in any of my render layers / render setup…Can anyone point me in the right direction? Renders fine on master layer, but not on render layers, which seems very odd.

I cant get scattering to show up at all even in simple scenes on Maya render setup layers. Ive upgraded to latest Vray available for Maya 2023.

Could you attach the simple scene here so we can troubleshoot?

Here is a scene. I really hope it me…cos this is pretty crucial…but also I am just adding a scatter to a layer. Nothing fancy, so Im not sure what Im doing wrong.

The scatter object is missing in the collections. Add it and it and the VRayScatter will show up properly.

Got it…ok you need to add the scatter node AND the objects that are being scattered. Cheers!

Seems I also need to add the ground planes the objects are scattered on. It probably is the same as MASH but it seems everything scatter related needs to be included in collections on the layer, and not just the scatter result.
