Cinema 4D R21 freezes when stopping Interactive Rendering

With Corona 9 it’s almost impossible for me to use the Interactive Rendering because when I stop it and want to close the window, 50% of the time Cinema 4D freezes. Lost many hours of work already.

Happens on different machines (iMac Pro’s) with C4D R21, Corona 9, OSX 12.6 Monterey.
