any chance to get circular vray plane light ? ![]()
why not just use a circle with vraylight material set to direct illum, or a vraylight in mesh mode linked to a circle?
Why not just code it into VRAY…It can’t be that hard???
Why use work arounds when you should have the right tools for the job.??
This is one light I would use EVERY project…if it was availble.
+10 votes for this from me
exactly ![]()
ok fair point ![]()
+1 from me ![]()
It’s been requested many times before, so I would guess it is not a trivial task or Chaos would already have it in place. I would like it too though ![]()
+1.
I would use this every project.
I would use it a lot as well.
More than the square light for sure.
+1
I too would use this on EVERY project.
+1 random characters here to make the character count…
What is ask here isn’t simply a Vray Light with a radial gradient map in his texture ?
How about a spherical VrayLight with a height of 0? ![]()
it’s not work because reflections will be always a sphere.
+1 to this, could use this right now for some ceiling lights. Would make setting up simple ceiling lights a whole like easier. I could also leave my lights visible to reflections since they’d match somewhat the shape of the fixture.
+1. Just had an instance where I was wishing there was a default ‘disc’ shaped light.
Hey Vlado,
Do you think this will ever be implemented?? It would be great to know either way ![]()
It would be very useful to all who do archviz.
Cheers
Jamie
I think I’ve replied +1 to this in another thread ages ago, but here I am again adding +1 for this seemingly simple fix.
Yeah, yeah, there are always work-arounds, but I agree with others, in that this should not need one.
I was sure I’d already +1d this, but here we go again - +1!
Disk, box and cylinder light would be great - as optimised as possible.
²nd that! (etcetc)
