Clipper is still ON

V-Ray V-Ray for SketchUp Issues

Hallo

I placed two section planes into my SU model, and I`m unable to turn its clipper off. No matter if it is ON or OFF in Asset Editor. I turn it OFF, then update scene, then click on a scene again, and clipper is back ON. Same in interective render or V-ray Vision.

Hello,

What version of V-Ray(a screenshot of the Extensions > V-Ray > Help > About here would be best) and SketchUp are you using?
Operating system version would help as well.

Hallo

there is system setting and V-Ray version screenshots in the attachment. My graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080. I observe this issue after the last V-Ray update. I can upload and screen record video if necessary.

hmmmm … strange thing happens - I can not simulate it anymore. I was fighting this issue all last week, and now it`s gone. If it occurs again, I will make a screen record and will attach it here. Thanks for your patience

Hallo

I`m not sure if these two things correspond, but since yesterday - when opening the existing skp file, V-Ray create a copy of the section cut which was in the model. A new section plane called “Section 2#1” is now working one, “Section 2” is dead - doing nothing.

I think that the issue you are describing is this one GPU interactive render problem - V-Ray for SketchUp :: Issues - Chaos Forum
The good news is that it is reported and probably will be fixed soon.
