Nice to have, need ability to have hidden geometry respected for light calcs

Nice for floor plans

This is incredibly important/helpful for setting up rendered plans and elevations in Enscape. Having the option to calculate the light based on inclusion OR exclusion of hidden geometry would be great, but if I had to choose I would choose to exclude the hidden geometry.

Very important!

this will significantly reduce set up and production time for client presentations as well as simplify model management

The current compatibility with of Enscape with Rhino Clipping Planes is at its very early days..
It is one of the main feature of Rhinoceros and thus would need this tool being fully implemented in Enscape. The critical things that are still missing :
Being able to handle more than one Clipping Plane
Being able to choose whether the Clipping Plane affects Lighting or not
Thank you.

This would be extremely useful but with Light and Shadows respecting the hidden geometry
It is an issue we have grappled with in Revit for 20 years Folks will love IT

This feature MUST translate to the EXE versions of the project!

Workflow would greatly improve

Good tool for section perspective renders. It would have work in a way that maintains the lighting of the interior spaces

important for Enscapes standalone exe functionality to respect the section planes of skp especially for saved scenes in skp. Without it, its a major issue of outputting all the needed scened to clients.

while most of our cloud models are on the BIM 360 environment, we are often switching between Enscape and the cloud model to generate these section plane cuts. Having to not switch would fine tune the presentation of our models.

Section Plane / Boxes directly in Enscape would be great! Sure you can do that in the CAD, but how about standalones / webstandalones? Revit is often incredible slow with very big projects… and the section function in sketchup is only 1 plane, no boxes.

But would you prefer that the hidden geometry is still respected for light calculations? Yes

The possibility of doing section planes while preserving the hidden geometry for light calculations would be an amazing feature as none of the CAD programs respect that rule.
