Corona 1.7 rc5 - white dots

Hello to all
I’m doing tests with 1.7 rc crown 5 and I noticed that there are white dots scattered around the image.

I’m sure there are many other ways to get rid of fireflies, but the simplest one would probably be to try and use denoising.

hello Ryuu
denoising is active

Try not to put bright light sources near very reflective surfaces, or if you have to, then use exclusions or rayswitches.

-How many passes is this?
-Is this beauty element, or some other?
-Are you using LightMix here?
-By looking at other parts of the image, it looks like denoising is not active, or denoising amount is set to 0 or some very low value.

size image 3600x2700
passes 40
do not use LightMix
if you increase the value of the decrease deoising white dots but lose other details that interest me

open and in photoshop are almost gone: O
Now I make a longer rendering.
thank you all

@Scuffi - Do you know that there is a “remove fireflies only” mode in the denoiser?

Use Corona recently and I’m not ashamed to tell you I do not know how!

I did a little research and I found out now, I think how the DeNoiser.
I’m rendering the image and I have to say that 125 pass virtually disappeared white spots.

Thanks for your help

The dots are probably caused by light shining on the metal/glass parts (caustics). One idea is to use the rayswitch material to exclude the reflective/refractive materials from GI calculations: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000529341

Here is the final image (200 pass 1h47Min render time) without DeNoiser.

thanks again to all.

That sofa on the right is floating in the air btw

Do you mind sharing your shader setups for your fabrics?

Thank you in advance
