Cosmos Update.exe Problem with Kaskerspky Antivirus

Hi,
Today I just received a notification from Kaspersky Plus v21.24.522(b) informing me that the file “update_661611.exe” had just been deleted because a malicious object was detected.

This is the first time this has ever happened.

Hello, and thanks for the report. That build was a bit problematic (definitely not a threat!), so we rolled it back, and released a new one just now: 2026.04.29-662281

Let us know if you can update flawlessly or if Kaspersky complains again.

BTW, I uploaded the yesterday’s build to Kaspersky’s online scanner and it did not find a threat.
