Hi everyone,
Here is another personal project. All models were made by me, except pillows and plants.
Hope you like it.
Stellar work @Vlad_Moldovan !
Thank you @Demian_Gutberlet . I appreciate it
How did you put those fibers!!? ![]()
The fibers were modeled and then scattered with fur tools (crowd maker)
May I ask how you modeled the fabric/blanket please?
Also his is really wonderful project!
Thank you @minoo , the blanket was done with ClothWorks. It’s a really inexpensive plugin and it works great for cloth simulation inside Sketchup.
looks great! the lighting and DOF effects are done perfectly ![]()
And nice to see Clothworks being put to good use as well, it is a really fun plugin to play with!
thank you @Herbo , you’re right , clothworks is really fun
Very lovely renders! One question - where do you put the Enscape light source for the globe lamps? Are you using all IES lights for your lighting?
… NO, I DON´T like this dark and luxurious bedroom - not at all, and for nothing in the world i would change it for my simple one !!!

Really really excellent renderings!!! and this cool detail idea with these fibres is so good - Excellent !
You have to come to that first.
Thank you @andybot , the globe lights are just emissive material. I also put ies lights above them on the ceiling. There are 2 more circular lights for highlights on the sides of the bed.
thank you @EGIESTO
Thanks @Vlad_Moldovan for explaining! I have to do the same thing in my projects - put the light source outside of the light object. I wish there was a way in Enscape to position the light source in the correct location inside the light object.
I hear you @andybot , I always have to think of more creative ways to do the lighting setup so it looks realistic.
Maybe you need some extra light
@tas_1985 , I think the light is good enough, maybe more accurate shadows? I mean more control over the shadows would be nice to have in Enscape.
? Do you mean like the Highlights/Shadows settings under Contrast in the Image tab of settings?
(Not sure it needs any tweaking: looks good to me  )
No @Gadget_1 I mean more control over the softness of shadows (more than already available) There are stiings for that in the Sun shadows but not the light shadows. And more accurate soft shadows (see how details are lost here)
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that the ‘softness’ of shadows is more to do with the actual light rather than the shadows? The more diffused the light source, then the softer the shadow; the more intense and direct the light source then the crisper the shadow. An emissive material will give the max softness, a spotlight the max crispness and IES profiles give all the ranges in between.
(Although I am 110% behind giving native Enscape light sources a “diffuse” setting.)
