Hello. When I am making plans in Revit, and then try to make a better rendering in Revit, every time I log on my rendering is so dark. I can barely see anything except a glare of sunlight trying gift come through. These are the specs on my laptop.
Welcome to our Forum @Bonnettc .
In this case please right away make sure that you do not have “Hardware-accelerated Ray-Tracing” enabled in your “General Settings” like so:
Even though your card may provide these options and they’re not grayed out, the GTX 1650 simply isn’t made to be compatible with ray-tracing of that extend.
Should doing so not resolve your problem at hand, please definitely also submit a feedback report including log files as detailed here so that we can troubleshoot the cause behind this further.
@Bonnettc , in this regard please also ensure that you’re using the latest available drivers for your GPU, kindly acquire them from the NVIDIA homepage directly: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
If that doesn’t resolve this behavior at hand, and you still cannot view your scene properly in Enscape, please submit us that feedback report as detailed here. After we’ve received your log files and full machine information / driver date overview we’ll get back to you accordingly.
Thank you very much in advance.
@Bonnettc please also make sure to reset your settings. If things are looking too dark it’s often the Exposure setting. Make sure Auto-Exposure is enabled and exposure brightness at 50%. If that doesn’t help could you try different quality levels? At draft quality it should definitely look much brighter even indoors without any light sources.
