Any chance to fix it?
We did fix it for VRayScatter, so maybe the fix could be reusable - up to the devs to assess that. For now, use ChaosScatter for the VRayDecals.
The problem is there’s no reference Mode vray scatter - I’d have to place scatters individually.
I see. That’s an interesting mode and indeed could be very useful for scattering stuff like decals (or lights) in a more predictable manner (and most importantly with 1 scatter node). I’ll forward the idea to the ChaosScatter devs.
This idea has actually already been logged in the Portal. Vote for it. Otherwise, a Corona coleague suggested that the Corona Power Tools (particularly object replacer) as an alternative for replacing reference objects with the decals. I don’t think these tools use a license, so try them out.
I agree and support this being implemented. It’s up to management to decide when and if this will happen. More votes = more chance.
