Anyone have a solution to decals not showing in Enscape. You can see below that the rug and picture decals show in Revit but not in Enscape. I’m running Enscape 2.0 and I’ve tried changing the render quality to low. Nothing makes the decals appear.
@Martin_Turner Which version of Enscape are you using?
Are the decals visible in the for Enscape selected scene?
It would be great if you could share your project file with us.
Hi Martin,
you can delete 99% of the geometry before sending us the project. We just need some project to reproduce your behaviour, because theoretically the decals should work.
Hello, was there any answer to the original question on this thread? I am having the same issue. My Revit version is 2019 and my Enscape was just updated to 2.4.1.2. The jpg decal shows up fine in Revit but does not show up in Enscape. I need to get this rendering out by tomorrow. Please help. Thank you all.
I’m having the same problem now using Revit 2019 and the latest update of Enscape. I ALSO have renderings due tomorrow.
I figured out the problem… Decals don’t work on any surface assigned to the “default” material.
I am still having the same problem with decals not showing up in the latest version of enscape.. can anyone help ? I am trying to place decals on storefront with modified material as well. It is visible in revit realistic views but not in enscape. I have a deadline too!
Did you try the solution from medmonds in the post above you?
Please kindly try the procedure done by @medmonds above, let me know if that doesn’t help. ![]()

I just had the same issue and found this thread. I assigned it “dim glow” and suddenly it appeared!
