Disable Frame Buffer? .VRIMG Memory issue.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I’m rendering a large (but basic) scene, I’ve tried a lot of different things but I keep running out of memory (even though I have 8 gig of ram) I’m guessing this is because although my OS is 64 bit rhino/vray isnt.

I’ve read online to render to a .vrimg file to save memory, but my memory use is almost at the same level. Do I need to turn the frame buffer off? And how do I do this in Rhino? I’ve found clear instructions for Max but the roll out is different in vray for rhino.

Thanks
