Displacement ???

Is it better to use Vray DisplacementMOD in the modifier or use the displace in the vray material MAPS ?

Witch difference between those two ones.

You still need to have the vraydisplacmeent modified on the object if you want any control over the displacement. But you just tick use object mtl if you have the map in the materials displace slot.
That way you can displace by material.

Doesnt really matter which way you do it just remember that you need to vraydisplacement mod no matter what if you want any control.
