DLSS option not working & Enscape stuck on the Loading screen. I have an RTX 3060 GPU with Ryzen 5900HS CPU.
@thenameisUDIT , please kindly update your graphics card drivers to the latest available from the NVIDIA homepage directly here. So far, DLSS/RTX was generally only inaccessible/greyed out due to outdated GPU drivers. Let me know if that doesn’t do the trick!
I’ve already tried and updated my nvidia drivers but nothing works as such. I’ve also tried re-installing enscape but still the same issue.
I’m sorry to hear that and thanks for letting me know. As a next step, please follow one of the two AMD-multi-gpu issue guides here (depending on which AMD software is installed on your machine) to ensure that Enscape is using the 3060 and not the built-in graphics unit of the AMD chip. That should already do the trick.
If that does not help at all, and you can assure that the NVIDIA card is used for Enscape (or other 3D applications), please also try completely and fully uninstalling the current GPU drivers from your machine using this tool here (Display Driver Uninstaller) (Note: You will have to boot into “safe mode” before running the tool) which ensures that the NVIDIA drivers are fully wiped from your machine - Afterward, re-install the latest drivers you’ve acquired from the NVIDIA homepage and try to use Enscape again. It sounds more complicated than it is, usually, all of this should be done in about 10-15 minutes.
I suspect Enscape is simply using the AMD onboard graphics though which would explain the loading screen being stuck as well.
If that still does not do the trick, then please send in a Feedback report as detailed here and briefly add some context into the submission form before sending it. This way we can then directly identify what the cause of this problem is.
