If the HDRIs are done properly, you do not need to gamma-correct them (unless you want to do that for artistic purposes). Best regards, Vlado

In general, float images which are either 16 half or 32 full float, never need gamma correcting. As Vlado pointed out, if they are done correctly, typically a software that does proper linear output will handle that correctly.
