When I try to run vrlservice.exe: Start error
Application requires Runtime Modules with version 5.10 or higher.
Very annoying, no mention of this error anywhere…
Wibu released new drivers couple of days ago and it seems like they are having some issues working with the current license server. We’re working to fix that, but in the meantime – you can downgrade the drivers.
To do so please do the following:
1. Unplug the USB dongle
2. Download the attached archive, extract it in a new folder. Rename “Wibu_clean_uninstall.txt” to “Wibu_clean_uninstall.bat”. After that right click on it and choose “Run as administrator”
3. Restart the computer
4. Download the drivers from the link below and install them with admin rights (rigt-click->run as administrator). Do not keep existing files from the previous driver installation during the install (see the screenshots in the archive) :

5. Plug the dongle back in and wait untill the it’s recognized by the OS
6. Make sure you have the latest license server installed - Download | My Chaos
7. Try to start the license server and update us on the result
