Hello! When I use a series of Cosmos trees, when I render, I get hundreds of error messages: “Duplicating global face ID.” And every time I move the camera, many more of the same errors appear. My question is if this error could affect the scene, render times, or final renders, and how could I fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Hey Juan Ferreira,
Thank you for your message!
To investigate the issue properly, we’ll need your scene where the “Duplicating global face ID” warning appears to reproduce the problem on our side.
Could you please let us know the following:
- Does this warning appear in every scene that uses Cosmos trees, or only in specific cases?
- Is the issue tied to certain Cosmos tree models, or does it happen regardless of which trees are used?
- Are you using Chaos Scatter to distribute the trees in your scene?
- If yes, are you using the Scatter presets provided through Cosmos Browser, or are you creating your custom distributions?
You can share your project together with all its assets here or by submitting a request in our Support channel.
Hi Zhanet!
· Does this warning appear in every scene that uses Cosmos trees, or only in specific cases? I usually use other libraries
· Is the issue tied to certain Cosmos tree models, or does it happen regardless of which trees are used? Before sending you the scene I have been doing tests and not only with the tree models but also with the grass.
· Are you using Chaos Scatter to distribute the trees in your scene? Yes
· If yes, are you using the Scatter presets provided through Cosmos Browser, or are you creating your custom distributions? I don’t use Cosmos distributions, I make them myself.
I have already sent the scene
Thanks
