Enscape does not load in rhino and Revit

Hi,

We now have several users who have the same exact issue with loading the enscape plugin in rhino 7 and Revit (version 2018 till 2021).

The version of Enscape we install is 3.0

  • we tried to install the app for all users and only for the user, both are not working, Error message is attached:

  • everytime we do a clean install we delete the Local appdata and Roaming folders.

The users work on windows 10

If any additional info is needed please let me know.

Anybody got some tips for us?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Kaan_1

I have moved your thread to our bug and error section.

In order to get behind this issue, could you please manually send us the necessary log files, you’ll find them here:

Enscape main plugin log files:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Enscape\Data\Logs

Rhino plugin log files:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\Enscape\Logs\EnscapeRhinoPlugin

You can just place all the files that are contained in these folders into a .zip file and send these to me via a DM.

Did this get resolved?

I downloaded the 14-day trial version of enscape to try it out & I am running with the same issue - when I start rhino 7 it gives me the rhino plug-in error

Unable to load Enscape.Rhino7.Plugin.dll plug-in:initialization failed.

  • the enscape toolbar shows on rhino : but gives the " unknown command"

  • Ive tried installing / uninstalling and reinstalling enscape with no success

Hi @mmonter

Welcome to our forum.

Could you make sure your graphics card driver is up to date, as I have heard of a few customers that updating their driver resolved this.

If that didn’t resolve this, and to give us some more information, please send in a feedback report via the Enscape Feedback Button.

Please also add a link to this thread in the description.

i have this problem also using rhino.

please help me!

i’ve uploaded the system_file_info
updated_systemInfo.txt (2.23 KB)

@shaisidi , welcome to our Forum.

Please also kindly try re-installing Enscape for all users on that machine as detailed here:

https://enscape3d.com/community/blog/knowledgebase/getstarted/#advanced_multi

If that doesn’t do the trick, please also make sure you’ve followed the steps listed here (just in case):

https://enscape3d.com/community/blog/knowledgebase/enable_enscape/#rhinos

Should that still not help with having installed properly, please also send us your log files manually:

Enscape main plugin log files:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Enscape\Data\Logs

Rhino plugin log files:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\Enscape\Logs\EnscapeRhinoPlugin

Thanks a lot in advance!

hi @Demian_Gutberlet ,

@shaisidi , can you confirm that your graphics card drivers are fully up to date? If you aren’t entirely sure, please acquire the latest ones for your card here to see if that makes a difference.

Furthermore, do previous versions of Enscape work compared to version 3.2+? You can acquire Enscape 3.1 here, thanks a lot in advance for your further cooperation.

And just to make sure as that should usually resolve it: You have previously uninstalled Enscape, rebooted your machine, and then re-installed Enscape once more for all users? If any steps have been left out during this process, please also try doing that again. Please make sure to also install Enscape on C:\Enscape ideally to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks a lot in advance.
