Enscape for Rhino - Grasshopper integration

Would be great to see grasshopper geometry able to be previewed inside of enscape without the need to bake it, similar to what vray is now doing.

This would allow me to keep the rhino file light as well and manage materials inside of grasshopper!

Thanks a lot for your inquiry @jessegould , this is already filed as a feature request on our internal agenda. I’ve added a further upvote to the topic through your voice, as well as your feedback.

Hi @Demian_Gutberlet has this feature been worked on yet? Would be super convenient for our presentations to clients and engineers to be able to manipulate geometry in grasshopper and visualize it in the enscape live. Thanks!

Not at the moment, I’m afraid, I’ll forward your upvotes from you as well @anam-ate !

I would love to see can set the Enscape Materials through Grasshopper!

I agree with everything listed above, and would like to add a few specific requests for release 3.3:

  • May the Enscape grasshopper components also be compatible with Rhino.Inside (revit)

  • May multi-asset placement by radius, rectangle, or region have a live interface within the Grasshopper UI

  • May the Video Path receive a NURBS curve input, and accept a list of points, vectors, and time stamps along that curve

  • May the Batch Panorama feature be based on a collection of Points

  • May there be a node-based material-creation/preview feature similar to Unreal Engine

HI Enscape Team.

Do we have any updates on this yet?

Hi @sam.travers , I’m afraid grasshopper support has not been implemented yet.

You can still gladly forward this as a feature request directly to product management too as detailed here for further future review. I’m sorry for not having more positive news right now, but any input of yours (perhaps next to this specific feature as well) via the Chaos Enscape Ideas Portal is still appreciated.
