Enscape not showing up as an active tool Palette option

I have re-installed Enscape and restarted my computer several times trying to get the Enscape plug-in to show up in Rhino7 under Window - Active Tool Palettes. I try with rhino quit, rhino on, restarting after installation is complete, and not restarting after installation is complete, but unfortunately each time I am similarly disappointed. I am running Sonoma 14.4.1 on an M1 Max with 64 GB of memory, so there shouldn’t be a problem but I can’t seem to get past the setup to begin using Enscape. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey @chandybuckets

Welcome to the forum! I’m sorry to hear about this issue. Can you please confirm that the Enscape.Rhino7.Plugin is loaded and enabled under Rhino 7 → Settings → Plugins?

Also, what Enscape version did you install?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Kaj_Burival_1 ,

thanks for the reply! I installed Enscape 4.0.1.48, but after the install sequence and restart, Enscape.Rhino7.Plugin does not pop up under Rhino7 → Settings → Plugins. Do you have any recommendations for what I should do? I don’t have v-ray enabled in rhino, and the only render plug ins I have enabled are the built in Rhino Render, and Legacy Rhino Render.

would I be better off trying to run the Windows version of Enscape through Parallels on my Mac? I installed the Enscape for Mac Version, and have been trying to open it directly through rhino for Mac.

I have the same problem, I have installed Enscape ver4.0 for my Rhino ver7.0 however, Enscape plugin doesnot appear in Toolbar and Plugin section in Rhino. What do I do to make it appear so I can use? Thank you

Hey @RaelynLuong , can you please confirm you’ve used the latest version available here? https://enscape3d.com/download/

Both of you, if using the latest installer doesn’t help, can you tell me if you have Parallels installed?

If so, please:

  • open Parallels but not the Virtual Machine
  • open the configuration of the VM
  • go to “Security”
  • check “Isolate Windows from Mac”
  • quit Parallels
  • restart Mac and try the installation of Enscape once more.
