I’m unable to edit any of the visual settings in Enscape 3.0 without having to ask another user to sync. I can’t change my preset or edit the same preset. The problem results in only one person per project being able to use Enscape.
We had the same thing when we tested 3.0
Apologies for the late reply.
Is this still happening for you in our latest release of 3.0.2?
If so, please send us a feedback report via the Enscape Feedback Button and include a link to this thread.
This isn’t easily tested because it requires setting up a test project on bim360, inviting users to it, upgrading those users to the newest preview build (which we normally don’t use for production) and then having them play around in the same project for a while, then downgrade their enscape again so they can continue work on production.
I’ll see what we can do, but it would be great if the Enscape QA could double check this as well.
We are aware of this and is likely to still occur in our 3.0.2 version, we will be looking into this.
I will keep you updated here once I have any new information.
For what it’s worth: do the same issues happen with the soon-to-be-released material editor for Revit? It’s very important for productivity that we can have multiple users working on different materials at the same time without running into syncing issues.
Where are you on this issue? We ran into this today and costs us hours of time trying to get multiple people to be able to work and render on the same project with 3.0.2. We are working on a large project and can lose up to an hour or more of time having to Sync so people can use Enscape 3.0.
This is another item that will prevent us from recommending the role out of 3.0 to the larger user base at the company.
Bump - we are running into the same problems. any solution would be greatly appreciated? can you seperate settings? can you switch back to save to file?
The same problem still occur in 3.3.1 version. Do you have any information for the solution?
Hi all,
Any solutions on this?
Can you please check these other forum pages:
RE: Enscape 3.0 and Revit Worksharing
Revit sync with central requests constant with Enscape open
We are thinking of upgrading from a stable 2.9 to 3.4. Should we not do this then based on your feedback? Are the new feature worth the trouble?
Cheers,
Goncalo
